What is Primrose Oil and How does
it work?
Evening
primrose is a wildflower that grows throughout the U.S. It has yellow
flowers that bloom in the evening. Although Native Americans used the
seeds for food and made poultices from the whole plant to heal bruises,
evening primrose oil (EPO) has only recently been used as medicine.
European settlers took the root back to England and Germany, where it
was eaten as food.Evening
primrose oil is found in the plant's seeds and is high in the essential
fatty acid gamma-linolenic acid (GLA). Essential fatty acids -- such as
omega-6, found in EPO, and omega-3, found in fish oil -- are used as
building blocks for a number of molecules in the body. Your body needs a
balance of omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids for good health. In addition
to evening primrose oil, GLA is found in borage oil and black currant
oil.Today,
EPO is used to relieve PMS symptoms and some arthritis-related
conditions. The strongest evidence for EPO is for treating eczema.- Evening
primrose oil has been used since the 1930s for eczema (a condition in
which the skin becomes inflamed, itchy, or scaly because of allergies or
other irritation).
- More recently it has been used for other conditions involving inflammation, such as rheumatoid arthritis.
- Evening
primrose oil is used for conditions affecting women's health, such as
breast pain associated with the menstrual cycle, menopausal symptoms,
and premenstrual syndrome (PMS).
- Other conditions for which evening primrose oil is used include cancer and diabetes.
Evening primrose oil is extracted from the seeds of the evening primrose. The oil is usually put into capsules for use.Evening primrose oil is well tolerated by most people. Mild side effects include gastrointestinal upset and headache.

stand behind every item we sell. If you are not satisfied with your
purchase for any reason, simply return the unused portion (unfortunately
we cannot process empty containers as returns) in original packaging
with your invoice within 14 days from delivery date for a prompt refund
less shipping.
Please contact us for authorization before returning product, unauthorized returns will be subject to a 15% restocking fee.
Only
one opened item of the same product is eligible for return. All others
of the same item must be in factory sealed original packaging for a
refund.
If more than 10 items from the order are returned, a 15% restocking fee will be applied.
We cannot process returns after 30 days.
For items damaged in transit:
USPS damaged item notice has to be sent to us to claim replacement.
The damaged product has to be returned to make the claim.

wrong shipment has to be returned UN-opened and in original condition
